New se iphone wont install and connect

What happens when you try and set up the iPhone?

Hi Leanne, when trying to get new phone to down from old phone , reaches a point where it says setting up on the screen then freezes, been into Exeter store and they were unable to sort either . Regards Clive.

Does this happen when you try and download your data using your iCloud back up? 

If so, what model is the old iPhone? Is the software up to date?

When it’s finished downloading from old phone , and goes to setting up phase it freezes updates seem to be up to date on both phones, plus Exeter we store tried yesterday with no luck, have spoken to a guy called Steve this am and have arranged to speak with tech team this evening as this is the phone for my daughter and she is now at work with her old phone with new sim in it .
