I had the same issue, tried all the suggestions including leaving VM from another phone and deleting, turning off VM via 150: Then called 150 and went through menu to Tech support who reset the VM for me and cleared the problem.

In the end I had to call 150 and wait 25 mins to talk to a guy who fixed it in 10secs.

But not until I had tried and failed with the [in this case] useless 'new digital assistant'.

Why is 'reset your voicemail' not automated then ?

Is the call to my phone from another phone to leave a voicemail to clear the issue free?

Is my call to retrieve the VM free?

If not then why are EE asking customers to pay for workaround fixes for their technical bugs?

Hi @Dave_Emm,

Welcome to the EE Community

As long as the other number was a UK number with inclusive minutes then it would not incur a charge for calling and leaving you a voicemail. And there is no charge for calling your own voicemail on your phone.

You can also call us on 150 free from your EE phone and one of our guides will be able to help sort this issue for you.
