Network issue Apple device

hey, 

i’ve got an issue with my I phone. I’ve got data on my business contact but I’m unable to use 4G on the internet and on applications. I still get notifications from applications but the applications just won’t refresh. My WIFI is also not working. It’s saying it’s connected but I have the same issue. But it says in connected but doesn’t show in the network bar at the top screen. 

any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you got a focus mode enabled?    This will effect cellular and WiFi 

Have you tried just restarting the device? 

Have you tried a network reset? This will reset both cellular and WiFi

There can also be a block put on Internet use in "Content and Privacy Restrictions". It will seem like you're connected to the Internet but pages will refuse to connect. Take a look in those settings to check there are no restrictions in place.

@Parry95   The easy option with that is to switch it off,  the settings in there are mainly for setting a device up for a child to limit usage and lock it down with a passcode.  Not seen anyone yet setup limited usage on their own device yet.
