I cannot send general messages on my phone- I've since got a new phone and sim- and it still won’t send them

I have 3 contacts I can message- the rest fail to deliver-

the shop have said  it’s maybe an issue with my actual phone number- that I need technical support??

any ideas

@clairew8229  Have you tried restarting the device? 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Are you using Android or iOS? is this text messages you're asking about?

Yes- it’s a new phone and sim but my number- 

i can’t message or text- I phones or others

It’s IOS and it’s not sending messages / texts to other iPhones and other makes-

return as -undelivered-

When you say "messages" do you mean iMessages or you just informally referring to ordinary SMS texts?

Both- have can’t send i messages or send them as a text

Is 'My Number' showing correctly in Settings > Phone?

Thanks-I checked and removed the other number attached- messages are still failing to deliver!

Is it still both iMessage and text messages that aren't sending, or just one or the other, @clairew8229?
