Iphone 15 Pro

I use an apple iPhone pro and I use to receive notifications and sound when emails and mesaages come in. This has stopped working, and I am looking for a solution to resolve the matter, despite contacting apple support without any conclusion, can any shed a light on this matter. please reply

@Profile closed  Do you have the device on silent ?   Pull down to open the control centre.  Is the bell icon red ?    If it is your device is on silent,  just press the icon
