I can’t make a call or message

I just bought a new iPhone and I put my EE sim and I have been trying to make a call or message and it has not been working is their anything I could do to fix this please

Have you completed activation of your new iPhone? 
Is the iPhone unlocked for all networks? 

Do you pick up any signal at all while the EE SIM card is in it?

Sorry I mistakenly press solution. It was picking up service when I inserted my sim. Then after I call EE that I could not call or message. The service has totally went barred and at the top it says no service. But when I go to Mobile service in setting it still show my number. But the sim does not work anymore. I can’t even receive messages which I was still able to do when I first inserted the sim card

You should be able to undone the Solution by clicking its Option Menu ('v' in a circle) & selecting Not the Solution.

Thanks for explaining @Basil7.

Are you using a physical SIM or an eSIM? If it is a physical SIM, are you able to try to put it in another phone to see if any service is picked up?
