Can't transfer e-sim number from old device

Hi, I can't transfer my number from my old iphone to my new device as the screen does not work on the old one. Tried linking but I need to authorise it on the old phone which I can't do. Any ideas please?

Best option then would be to take ID to youre local EE store and they will give you a new sim to put in the phone. I did this othr week and it was all done within 5 mins with ID or I believe you can download an eSIM from the EE app maybe try that way.
