I ordered the iPhone 18 pro max burgundy 256g on 17th October. Is there a rough estimate as to when this will be dispatched? Where I would be in the queue?

Well that's what they're paid to do...
Meanwhile we're out of pocket and EE keep lying to us.

I ordered the iPhone 18 pro max 256gb on the 29th September and it said more then 28 days dispatch date when I ordered. It has now been 29 days and I still have no indication if I’m looking at days or more weeks as it just says order placed. Please can you give me an update?

Just got my DPD Whatsapp message!
I ordered my iPhone Duo 256GB Star White via App on Friday 16th October at 4pm. Got the XKO confirmation email straight after.
EE tracking showed the message for ages:
On the 23rd, this message changed to:
On the 27th, the messaged then changed to:
It still says that same message now. Just sharing timelines for everyone’s visibility.
Hoping it will arrive soon!

That’s good news they have more stock!
If you got your XKO confirmation at 4pm on the 16th when did you get your 06 one?

Out of pocket how? The new price doesn't start or new phone received.
It always makes me laugh that 1st world problems like not receiving a new phone are worst thing EVER each year

@garybs29 Most people paid at least £550 upfront at the time of placing the order (depending on which type of contract was taken out), others paid the full cost upfront if buying sim free.
That doesn’t even include people who were out of contract and upgraded to the iPhone Duo who are now stuck paying the full cost of their old contract until the new one kicks in.
Yes not having a new phone is nothing compared to the real world issues people are living through, it’s the total lack of communication from EE and consistent lies which I imagine are causing most of the frustrations.

Couldn’t agree more than that 👍

"Out of pocket" would mean money taken & receiving nothing at all, a delay is hardly leaving anyone out of pocket.
It's the same year on year yet people still blame anyone but Apple for stock constraints as they can do no wrong in the eyes of the "have to have the new one NOW" people

Well that’s one way of looking at it but I would disagree. People have paid a lot of money that has either been taken out of their bank accounts or sitting on their credit card which needs to be paid back and they have absolutely nothing to show for it apart from a rough 28+ days delivery estimate… could be November, could be January or even later.
I don’t think anybody blames EE for the delay, nobody knew it was going to be this popular, not even Apple. I’m sure they are doing everything they can to clear the backlog but don’t forget they were reporting dealing with a 40% loss of units due to manufacturing issues. Even with that a faulty batch made it into the hands of customers which I would imagine was either an early manufacturing mistake or a drop in quality control in an attempt to quickly ramp up production but either way Apple need to hold back stock to deal with that.
What people are blaming EE for a is a lack of clarity regarding their order and statements made by their agents which are wildly inaccurate.
