I've recently had problems when making or receiving calls to/from landline numbers. The other person says the call is breaking badly. I've tested this by calling my home landline and my wife's mobile at home. She can hear me fine on her mobile but says the call is breaking up when I call the landline.
It happens regardless of the area code I'm dialling and also with inbound and outbound landline calls. This issue seems to be peculiar to my mobile as it doesn't happen when using my wife's iPhone 8 to call landlines from the same location.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? I'm using an iPhone 8 and have done the usual (upgraded to latest IOS 16 - cleaned the sim card).
