Hi @caz81,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
I'm sorry to hear your remote isn't working.
Have you tried replacing the batteries?

I have the same problem. I have replaceable batteries, I have just replaced them with new, no change. Must be power to remote as will mute TV, but no other buttons work.

@FionaMcc It’s not an Apple Siri Remote control as you can not change the battery on it as it’s a sealed unit. EE have only ever supplied the 4K Apple TV and that includes the original Siri Remote ( touch pad, all black and silver on the back ) or the 2/3nd generation Siri Remote that’s all silver with black buttons and a black round touch pad with directional buttons around it and that comes with the 6th/7th generation Apple TV. So if you’ve changed the battery on the remote it’s a gen 2 Apple remote ( not Apple Siri Remote ) and that’s was for the 2nd and 3rd generation Apple TV and that was never supplied by EE.

I had the same problem and I resolved it by following this advice from the Apple website, it is very easy.

@DudeAbides1917 You get two remotes with the EE Apple TV. When this thread was created it wasn’t the current EE Apple TV. It’s was an Apple TV. The EE remote you can change the battery the Apple Remote is a rechargeable device and it’s sealed. This thread is not relevant any more to EE TV.
