Apple News+ on EE | Entertainment on EE | EE
Above link says Apple News+ is Free for six month and Text NEWSPLUS to 150 so I did and received a link to redeem the code.
However, the link is not working, it says 'We are sorry, the offer you're trying to access is no longer active. Please try again later'. After trying few times, I called EE customer service. They agree that offer is there but they don't know why it's not working, phone was disconnected.
I called Apple customer service who very kindly looked into their database and said that they haven't got any such codes from EE (6 month's free trial for News plus) and I need to go back to EE.
So called EE again, was transferred to tech dept who said they don't have a clue but will look into it and call me next day. Next day after waiting, I contacted EE again, this time a rude advisor, who said she can't help and there is nothing can be done in this case, that have sent the link and that's it.
I have received that redeem link from EE but they can't help now.... even though EE sent me that link... Not sure what to say and do as I have already contacted EE 3 times and apple as well. I have never subscripted Apple news before.
Very disappointed with EE.

I haven't had the offer before. I spoke with EE last night and they couldn't help so referred me to the US Apple site which is hopeless. I tried the technical things suggested on here too. If you can provide any help with accessing it, it would be fab but if not, it sounds like the offer isn't available and EE should take it down from their website as it's misleading.

I spent over an hour on the phone with Apple yesterday and was moved up to a tier 2 person. The EE Apple News Plus offer is currently valid but EE need to send out the correct link for their customers to access it. Apple can't do anything about the link that you're currently sending. Please can you share the CORRECT link so I can take up the offer, thanks. The glitch is nothing to do with ios or handset or macbook, it is purely to do with the weblink being incorrect. Hope this helps everyone else on this thread!

Just tried with a new code from 150 and still get the some error.
“We're sorry, the offer you’re trying to access is no longer active. Please try again later”
Pretty poor from a company the size of EE cannot resolve this.

I have been trying for 2 months now to get this issue resolved. Contacted EE several times. Raised a formal complaint a couple of weeks ago. Got passed around different people for over an hour. In the end was told that EE still have no idea why it doesn’t work, all people who are experiencing problems will be collected and be passed on to Backup team?! Complaint closed. Still nothing. No update.

Still not working for me neither on multiple SIM’s. Complete #TITSUP and seems like this problem has gone unresolved for a long time.
