Apple Music free subscription not working

Hi

 

I already had Apple Music so I cancelled my subscription and added the six month free via the EE app. I got the text, followed the link...it’s all verified, and EE shows as me having the add on, but it doesn’t work, my Apple account doesn’t think I have a subscription. 

The only thing I can think is that I’ve had this EE account for 18 months and have only just tried this, but it was still showing available...So don’t know.

Did you have Apple Music through EE or directly with Apple?

 

Does it show in your add-ons in your My EE Account?

I had apple music directly with Apple. 
I cancelled it. 
Then I activated the add-on on the EE app. 
it’s showing active.

I don’t think it had ended before I texted 150 to be honest. 
Every time I text MUSIC to 150 I get a message saying that something went wrong so I’m debating whether to call EE and get it sorted out. It does say my subscription is on but it doesn’t show on the app itself, it simply won’t let me listen to music.

I rang EE and they sent me a link, which then activated it. I think maybe it was that my Apple subscription hadn’t ended first before I started the free add-on
