I have just bought an iphone 16 pro(after many years of android), came with free apple music add on, I have downloaded apple music(itunes?) on pc and have it on my phone, but cannot find a way to claim the free apple music, app just gives me an option of 3 months free, then £10.99 a month

Can anyone please help?

Perfect, that shows you have the Apple Music Subscription set up on your line.

As the link didn't detect your Apple subscription, I'd recommend giving our Customer Service team a call on 150 from your handset, where a guide will be able to check the subscription is set up correctly, or reset it.

Hi @jpd1974

Welcome to the Community.

Did you purchase your mobile phone outright, or is it on a monthly contract?

Using your mobile phone with EE SIM card inside, and making sure you're using mobile data, can you try going to Activate Apple Music

Ali

monthly contract with option of apple music or apple tv or some others

clicked on the link.. "no subscription through ee"

Thanks for giving the link a try.

Can you text MUSIC to 150 from your device?

Says I have already used my free membership(ended yesterday), only got the phone today

But I can still pay £10.99 a month

Can you check if you have Apple Music set up as your Inclusive Extra?
You can check your Inclusive Extras quickly and simply in the EE app, or by texting “Pick” to 150.

Thanks Ali

All working now, spoke to EE, everything OK, there, spoke to Apple, they had no idea, back to EE, removed the subscription and readd, that did the trick
