Phone developed a fault with the screen on Sunday (first picture), a big pink line vertically across the screen.
Was annoyed but after other repairs to the z flip 3 I took it to EE confident it would all be okay.
They have now sent me the following images of "damage which invalidates the warranty"
The phone has never been dropped and is only from wear and tear, what can I do? I don't want to send to Samsung as they have told me there will likely be an inspection fee, but am I wrong in thinking this is ridiculous?
For reference I am in England, not too far from London.
Can someone please explain this too me? Seems so petty...

Twice.
Both times I was told that only the repair centre could do something.
Repair centre refused to do anything and said that that's it, I can either pay for the repair or get the phone back.
Service has been horrific.

I'm sorry to hear that, @n56. If the repair centre are sticking with the decision, there isn't much we ca do here. Are you due an upgrade any time soon?
