WiFi hotspot

I connect my mobile to a WiFi connection. My TV/firestick is unable to connect directly to this WiFi. I can connect my TV/firestick to my phone's hotspot. I can't see any useage on my data. Am I using the WiFi? So won't receive any additional bills or use my data

If you're connecting any device to your phone's hotspot, then that device will be using your mobile data allowance. You can check this by texting AL or BALANCE to 150.

Sometimes the resulting usage is listed under "Hotspot" on your phone's data counter, it can sometimes be listed under the specific app.
