Warranty period on Google Pixel 8 handset only

Can anyone tell me the warranty period for a Google Pixel 8 handset that I ordered through EE in December 2023? I'm having a green screen issue and don't know if I need to contact EE to resolve or Google direct.

Hi,
I ran into the same problem and I'm in the same situation whereby I only bought the handset via EE. I am wondering how did you get on with claiming the warranty. Did you successfully get it repaired under warranty?

Yes I went direct through Google. Click the start repair on this link https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/9218411?hl=en.
Got them to send me packaging and then sent off. Took a day to get there (went through three countries) but a bit longer to come back as it was the weekend. Imagine if I had sent it on the weekend or first thing Monday it would have come back that week.
Note, it doesn't ask what the problem is, you just say screen. Mine was intermittent so I did stick a print out of what I saw when it happened, don't know if this made any difference though.

I looked at the Google webpage and was glad to see that it's a known issue and the pixel 8 is listed under the extended warranty device list. There are as authorised repair partners where I could walk in for a repair. I'm going to try one near my workplace.
