Can anyone tell me the warranty period for a Google Pixel 8 handset that I ordered through EE in December 2023? I'm having a green screen issue and don't know if I need to contact EE to resolve or Google direct.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@PointlessMonkey you get a one-year warranty.
You can contact EE or google but this will cost you to repair if you don’t have insurance

Thanks @Chris_B . I think manufacturer warranty is two years so i'll go to Google as I am outside of the one year for EE. Hopefully there won't be a cost to me as this is a known issue on Pixel phones.

Hey there @PointlessMonkey 😊
Welcome to the EE Community!
As @Chris_B has mentioned here, the standard warranty on Pixel handsets is 12 months, and you can check out the Warranty status of your phone here.
Some of our plans in 2023 did include an extended warranty for the duration of the contract, but it would depend on the specific terms of the plan you're on.
If you can't get this sorted via Google it's definitely worth reaching out to our team, and they'll be able to let you know if this is something you're covered under.

Thanks @Peter_W . This was a handset only purchase so won't be covered under the additional warranty. Thanks though.

I'll keep everything crossed Google help you get this resolved too 🤞

Hi Chris, I have followed that link and got nowhere with it. My phone qualifies for a 'free replacement batttery', but when the ee store advisor knows nothing about the 'appeasement offer programme' and after ringing ee direct, they too know nothing about it, what are you suppossed to do then? That is why i asked, if anyone has direct contact details for Google, as they have caused the problem.
Regards Paul

Hey again @UTFC-55, where exactly have you been advised that you qualify for a free replacement?
If this is a known fault that Google have advised on specifically, it could be worth taking a look at their contact form here.
