I have tried the ee online help and so far not been able to assist.
I have recently renewed my ee phone contract and received a new phone. I want to unlock my previous phone to give to someone not on ee. I logged into my account and found "devices" added the IMEI number of the old phone, which then showed a green tick, only for the page to refresh and say "Please try that again Sorry, something went wrong on our end. Please enter your IMEI again or come back later", this has been ongoing for a week

This guide will tell you everything regardless if you have bought it brand new from EE or second hand off sites like eBay or a friend.

@Chris_B Hi, unfortunately I have a speech issue, which is why I've sought assistance from ee,s online help - who couldn't help and now on here

What kind of phone is it, @Nianotreve?
Could you try the unlocking page using a different device or browser please?

Did you manage to try the link on a different device or browser?
Please make sure there are no spaces before or after the IMEI number.

Did you ever get this sorted? I'm trying to unlock my phone and I'm getting the same error message
