Unknown bleeps om my mobile

Hi folks, I have only recently joined EE and am very happy but I do have one mystery to solve.

I have a brand new phone which is  a Samsung Galaxy A14

Obviously when the phone bleeps I check to see what it is. If it's a text or Whatsapp message they are obvious to spot. 

However sometimes there is no indication what the bleep is for. No matter where I look nothing shows up!

It's very puzzling so can anyone offer any suggestions as to what those bleeps are please?

Hi James,

I think you may well have solved my issue but am waiting for another stray bleep to test it out.

However I did swipe a finger down the screen and found some items I wasn't aware of so they may have been what caused the bleeps. I clicked on them and soon the screen cleared.

The next stray bleep should hopefully sort it out.

Your suggestion has proved to be correct. Just had another bleep and I did what you suggested and saw a couple of items.
