Trying to unlock my Huawei P30 Pro

Hi,

I am selling my phone and need it to be unlocked from the EE network. I have gotten as far as receiving the unlock code but when I click next steps it asks me for my IMEI again. I have seen others have the same issue and the resolution being to put the new SIM card in and put the unlock code in and your phone is unlocked. However, I do not have a new SIM. I am simply unlocking the phone to sell it and am putting my current EE sim into a new phone.

Please advise as to how to unlock my phone without needing a different SIM card as I don't have one.

Thank you.

You can't! You need it to hold a non-EE SIM before it will ask for the unlock code. You could get a free PAYG SIM from another network to unlock it.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
