Any news on EE offering the Sony Xperia 1 VII?

We don't have any update on that phone being available at present.

It can be that the phone is not going to be available on EE, but if that does change, you can see the latest release information on our What's New At EE page.

its not an iphone or a samsung so the sales staff wont be getting bribed to push the sony, (trust me this happens, used to work for EE) looks like all UK networks have dropped all sony phones

It's not yet even  released? Anyhow if Sony are indeed discontinued at EE I might well be considering my options......

Indeed early days. I'm the same. Always been Sony and won't go elsewhere. If EE isn't doing Sony, I'll have to use another provider.

Same replies everytime from EE, one indicator it may possibly become available for preorder over the next few weeks is they've removed the 1 Vi and 10 Vii from the online store, they did the same last year and previous year prior to the vi and v becoming available for pre-order, only then did they then pop up on the "coming soon" page contrary to support responses.

Looking at the release date of the 1 VI, it looks like it came to EE a week or two after it went on general sale, so I guess it's a possibility the same could happen again?
