Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced sudden changes in battery life on the Sony WF-1000XM4 headphones? I've heard it's a widespread problem. Has anyone found a solution that works? Is EE addressing this issue?

@mar_c  The product is made by Sony why would EE address a manufacturing issue ?   You’ll be better off contacting Sony about this.   Please have a look at THIS

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Since it was sold to me by EE, it's customary to address the issue first with the seller before contacting the manufacturer. Moreover, I have checked all the Sony forums, and the solutions provided there do not work for anyone. Also, I believe EE should address this because it's a widespread problem affecting one of its add-on devices...

@mar_c  And how long have you had this product?   As they get an 1 year warranty on the battery,   And EE isn’t responsible for firmware updates for the product and the searching I’ve done online suggests that it was an update that might be the cause.    And if it’s a wide spread issue then that suggests it’s a Sony manufacturing issue.

@mar_c  Have you checked the Sony app for any firmware updates? Might also be worth a factory reset too.
