Hi, the Santander mobile banking app no longer works on my phone when using the EE mobile network. When I use WiFi or another mobile network it works perfectly but when on the EE mobile network it keeps giving me an error message. This used to work for me no problem up until a couple of months ago and I've not been able to resolve the issue since. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi contacted santander today they said problem lies with EE support.
I contacted EE and got through to second line support. Root cause is their content filtering policies are blocking traffic going to retail.santander.co.uk notice how santander.co.uk isnt blocked. The sub-domain however is and thats the same back end for mobile banking app. Ask support to turn off moderate content filtering policy on the number associated to the account. You also need 18+ stuff allowed. Until EE tech fix the problem 🙂 Reboot of phone should resolve this. Cheers

I am currently having the exact same issue. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. Works on WiFi but it's not just the online banking app, it's also on browser it doesn't work when I try to log in.
I have contacted my bank and they said to speak to EE as they can't do anything.

I am having this exact problem, when connected to WiFi there is no problem but as soon as its mobile data it won't load up the app. Did you find a solution?

Have you checked your content lock settings are set to off?
Can you access all other apps?

I've sussed it. If you turn your phone off and then on again it seems to fix the issue.
But then mysteriously goes back to not allowing the page to load again.
It's a bit of a pain, but switching off and back on again seems to do the trick for me...

Hi did you manage finding the issue or resolving it ? I’ve just left three for similar reasons, I couldn’t access my Santander app, changed banks and now having the same issue, I can’t even send my kids lunch money online because my network prevented me doing so. I’m not searching for a provider who will allow me such access. Caroline
