Hello

My Samsung S23 has started  to not keep up the correct time. Friday I was late for work because my alarms did not go off because at 7.40 am my phone reckoned it was 01.39 am. And today at 08.30 my phone said it was 02.29.

Hi @chezz100

This is odd what are your settings under settings - general management.

Also what are your location settings.

Thanks

Almost certainly a device issue rather than network one.

When did you last power-restart your phone?

Several times. I'm having wifi problems were I lose connection and it says 'connected without internet'.  And I've used up my data because of this. So I turn off data when I'm in the house and I'm thinking that during the night I'm losing wifi again so the phone is not updating the time correctly.

Although there is some kind of network-time-update happens particularly at clocks-change time, the phone shouldn't need this just to keep time - otherwise every single mobile device would lose time when it doesn't have an internet connection.

"Connected without internet" is usually a symptom of the router you're connecting to, not having an onward internet connection, but there are some alarm bells ringing here, of whether your phone has an underlying fault.
