Mobile data not working on my Samsung

I have recently moved my EE sim from my Apple device to my Samsung and mobile data is not working.  I have mobile data active but it will not allow me to send messages, browse etc unless I am wifi.  Any guidance would be welcomed

Hi there @Heathkl

Thanks for coming to the community.

Which Samsung device are you using? Do you get an error message when trying to access data?

Can you make calls and send texts?

Speak to you soon 🙂

Leanne.

Thanks @Heathkl, are you using an eSIM or a physical SIM?

When you're on the lock screen too, does it show EE in the top left corner of the screen?

On the assumption that you have EE coverage and can make & receive voice calls, send & receive texts....

Try re-sending the EE-specific mobile data config from https://setup-ee.wdsglobal.com/internet

Hi @Heathkl

Is your Samsung phone from EE.

Are you in the UK.

Thanks

its a physical sim and the lock scree shows EE but no indication of 4 or 5G

the phone is not from EE but the Sim is EE

If it's showing EE that's a good sign @Heathkl , you'll need to switch off WiFi before it shows a 4G / 5G indicator too.

I would definitely recommend trying to download the internet settings @bristolian shared here.

If this phone has previously been used on a different network, then it may still be configured to that network.

As it's an iPhone you had previously too, often you'll need to de-register from iMessage in order to send normal texts, so this is worth checking out.
