You need access to any non-EE SIM card to complete the unlock process on your phone.
When you insert a non-EE SIM card into the phone it will cause the phone to ask for the unlock code you have.
You then enter the unlock code and your phone becomes unlocked.
You only need to use the non-EE SIM card for a short moment to complete the unlock process. Even a family or friend SIM card who is not on EE will work.
Once the handset is unlocked, you can then remove the non-EE SIM card and insert your EE SIM card back into the phone to use as normal.
