Smart Wi Fi Pro

The light on my Smart WiFi Pro keeps changing to orange and I lose some of my connections.  If I turn it off and on again it seems to pick up the signal.  Certainly not what I thought I was paying for?  Can anyone help please?

Is there a way to see how much is left to pay on a tech add on?
