Google Pixel 7 Pro Battery recent rapid deterioration and charging issues

Hi, 

I purchased the Google Pixel 7 Pro in February and was really happy with its long battery life. It was lasting me 2 days before needing charged. 

In the last month there has been a rapid deterioration in my battery life, needing charged after 12ish hours. My daily phone usage would be around 3-4 hours Max daily. I have tried all the battery life/consumption settings to optimise the battery and no luck.

In the last month it is also not charging at times when plugged in and not connecting my cars android play system (which is through a usb c cable). I have tried 3 different cables in the last 2 weeks to if it was just a dodgy wire or plug, no change. 

I am really disappointed as the phone is  not even a year old and I am paying for it monthly. 

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.

I am very sorry to hear this is happening. 

As you have ruled out an issue with the charger, I'd recommend giving us a call and speaking with our technical care team on 150.
