Do EE lock Samsung S23 mobile to EE network only?

Hi,

I got a Samsung S23 from EE on pay monthly contract in July 2024 and will be moving soon, however where I am moving to doesn't have a great signal for calling and I need to go outside to get a clear line, so the other person on the phone can hear me.

I am aware that the S23 support dual sim cards, if I was to get another sim card, from another provider, would it work with the phone?

As I am unsure if EE lock there contract phone to there network only

I have just logged into my EE and check and it is unlocked.

What about wifi calling , is that an option as well?

It would be, once I got my internet installed on the 16th.
