Apple Watch SE Cellular for location tracking

I have an iPhone with a Sky Mobile contract.I want to buy an Apple Watch SE Cellular for my 9-year-old using Family Setup. Can I keep my phone on Sky and activate an EE Standalone / Family Watch plan, or do I need to move my mobile contract to EE?
