I don't really know where else to post this as EE simply closes complaints when they are raised over the phone immediately after the call has ended without any action on their part and I am absolutely furious with the customer service I have received. I've been an EE for a very long time and never felt the need to complain before, not that that seems to matter to them.
I recently moved house and expected all my services to come with me, everything seemed OK except for the fact the TV wouldn't connect to the broadband although I could still access some of the online services. Yesterday I called up EE to get the issue resolved, then spent 45 minutes being passed around various departments. Eventually I was told there was problem on my account affecting the services and that I would be passed through to the 'correct' department. Instead the phone was hung up on me while I was on hold. No one from EE tried to get into contact with me even though the issue clearly wasn't resolved, then even better the services I could still access started being cancelled without explanation.
I called back up only to told that because of the issue on the account, caused by EE negligence, meant that the account had to be closed and I would have to call back up tomorrow to get it reinstated. I was assured that if I called up again tomorrow it would be resolved and I would be back connected by the evening. Yet when I called back up today I instead get told that it takes normally 7 days for the issue to be resolved and that I would have to call back up then. Not only that, I was also quoted a price for my existing services, which again were only cancelled because of error on EE's part and through no fault of my own, would be £20 a month higher than what I was previously paying.
The final person I spoke too did at least say they would call be back next week to resolve the issue rather than go on hold again, but I can't quite believe how I've been treated. I've tried to raise complaints twice while on the phone (C******** & C********), however after I've got off the phone both times I immediately received a text saying they are closed. The first time they told me this would happen and it was just so they could see the compliant on my account when I called again, but I now know that not to be the case because they had no idea about the compliant when I called today. EE provide no other option to voice your complaints and frankly I'm posting on here to vent because it seems to be about the only place EE allow for it. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm under contract with at least a year to run I would cancel the whole thing and move elsewhere because I find it hard to believe you could be treated quite so badly anywhere else, an appalling experience.

Hello @90richardsm ,
Welcome to the community,
Sorry about the issues you are having, but you can raise a complaint here:
https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee/complaint
You should receive a reply within 7 days and if not satisfied after 8 weeks you can raise it with the ombudsmen.
@Leanne_T or one of you could you take a look at this please?

I too have had a shocking experience. Their lack of empathy and care is incredible. I have been with BT and then swapped over to EE for 20+ years. I too have had about 3 or 4 complaint numbers allocated and then immediately closed. Pushed from pillar to post, people giving different answers each time, they even admitted to me that depending on who you speak to they have access to different offers so is it a game of chance?? Outrageous. I tried the complaint thing online and phoning but really got nowhere, just got upset and frustrated so i have ended up writing and sending everything in the post. They are charging me a fortune as well and underhandedly extended my contract just because i asked for my complimentary health check. Promises of call back and nothing, spoken to like i am thick and gullible. The way the industry is run now is disgusting. You get nothing for loyalty and just get a good opening offer if you are a new customer then almost make you feel trapped if you can't be bothered to switch. The bigger the company, the worse you get treated, they just seem to have the attitude "well whatever, we can just replace you with another mug". I am considering in writing to Ofcom, they really need to get a grip and treat people how they would want to be treated themselves in everyday life. Their stock phrase is : "I understand your frustration" after me spending almost a day of my time trying to get it sorted. I am so mad about it all and yet i know they will have the ultimate cards with some legal small print in a contract. SHOCKING.
