We know that before a third-party user of YouView can show a particular app, it must be part of what YouView can provide. Fair enough.
But here, they list their achievements in the last year:-
https://www.youview.com/articles/a-great-year-for-youview-highlights-of-2023-24
where they describe :-
“With the launch of Apple TV+, Discovery+, Disney+ and GB News, we added more content providers to our platform further enhancing the viewing experience for our customers.”
Looking at the app roster on my box, I see Apple TV+, Discovery+ and GBN, all present and correct.
So why is Disney+ still missing? Is YouView providing Disney+ to anybody else, but not EE TV?

The Youview User Interface policies do cover the existing apps and what they refer to as soon to launch apps. I seem to recall Disney + was allocated a position between YouTube and NOW in the last review published on their (YouView) web site last autumn.

Same with me. Was promised Disney by the sale advisor, and it’s not there. Come on EE, Sky can do it, why not you?

Another vote to get Disney+ added to the EE TV Box Pro line up. If others can do it, I don’t see why EE can’t. Although my main TV supports the Disney+ App directly, My second TV doesn’t hence why I’m reliant on my TV Box delivering it.

Well YOUVIEW reported in June 2025 ( Riccardo Balestiero, CEO of YouView wrote )
On EE TV we completed our content app line-up with the additions of YouTube, Discovery+ and Paramount+;
So that doesn't suggest that further additions to the content app line-up are expected.

@zulu17 as per the chat on the BT forum, it seems like the pro box is on borrowed time

It was their end of year summary - they completed their year. Or maybe they meant to say "complimented"? Not sure. They definitely haven't completed dev on EE TV - there's still more to come.

Nope. I've updated the thread there - the TV Box Pro and TV Box Mini aren't end of life. They've got plenty of life left in them yet.
