When I was with BT it was very easy to upgrade your TV package from the box. It was equally easy to downgrade from the website.
however it is more difficult with EE as these simple operations have to be done by contacting EE customer services which can involve a long wait.Hardly encouraging to customers

Hi there @MikeN2
Welcome to the community.
Thanks for leaving this feedback for the EE TV Packages.
Have you been in touch with our broadband guides and had the changes made to your TV package?
Leanne.

No because this would involve a long phone call which is the problem I was attempting to avoid

I can understand you'll not want to wait on the phone @MikeN2, but that is the only way that the TV package can be changed at the moment.
If it is something that can be changed online in the future, we'll let our customers know.

If I call my doctor, and the queue is long, I can select a callback option that will ring me back when I bubble to the top of the list.
If seems to me that EETV customer telephone service would be greatly civilised by something like this.
