Looking to see how to watch U channels. I’m signed in on the app but when I select a programme the screen box is blank.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Are you signed in on the U app in the Apps rail on your EETV device?
I do that, and I see a splash screen for Dave/Drama/W/Yesterday, which then goes to Home, with various other choices.
No blank boxes.
What, precisely, are you doing, on what device, that gets you to this blank screen?
Please list the steps you are taking, and what happens.

I presume you mean the U app, as the channels aren't included in EEs internet mode on the pro boxes, the mini boxes or the apple TV box.
With regards to the app have you tried using it on another device if you have one? Fire stick, Roku, smart TV?

These U Channels are standard Freeview channels - unless you're in IP Mode - so can be accessed via the normal guide on a TV or BT/EE box surely.

I suspect plenty of EE TV customers choose it precisely because they don’t have an aerial (or don’t want one).

Neither the Box Mini nor the AppleTV, nor even the Box Pro in IP Mode, will give you the U Channels.
Out of all the EETV devices, only the Box Pro will give you these channels, and then only in Aerial Mode.
Bur @Cat127 did say they were using the app, so we have to await their clearer description of what the difficulty here is.

@Profile closed or they prefer the additional HD channels and don't mind swapping hdmi inputs.

Why would they have to swap HDMI inputs?

@Midnight_Voice Switching sources between your pro box and your aerial source if your going to be picky over it lol

Oh, you mean just pressing a button on the remote - I think most of us can manage that.
I had this vision of somebody having to grope around the back of the TV, physically swapping HDMI cables 😛
