Tv box mini

I was wondering if you are able to use a tv box mini at a different address to watch content on apps such as discovery+. 
i will be staying at a friends for the night and wanted to use the tv box while i am there.                        Is this possible?

Yes, most apps will work from any broadband line in the UK - though you will be asked to log into them with a valid username and password.

None of the TV channels will work, and neither will the EE TV app.
