TV box mini

I have the EE tv box mini and it will only allow me to record things that are available on demand which kind of negates the point of recording.

How can I record live TV? I thought this was a feature of EE TV. Seems like a pretty basic requirement for modern TV packages

The TV Box Edge cannot record - only the TV Box Pro can do that. 

On the Edge (formerly known as the Mini) you can only set shortcuts to catch up.
