TV Picture Pixilates and Drops and the TV Box won't connect to the WIFI booster

We just got our EE TV Box and it's having pixilated pictures and dropped out sound which doesn't exactly add to the darts experience! Luke Littler had hit a double 12 before I knew he was on it.

We're trying to link it to the wifi booster up here (wired is not an option) as everything else up here is linked to the Wifi Booster. The box refuses to see it.

What might be happening?

@Transistorhero

Which EE TV Box, Box Pro or Apple?

Who supplied the WiFi booster? If it’s not from EETV, that is likely your issue.

Hello

It's an EE TV Box Pro. The Wifi Booster isn't from EE. I didn't realise there would need to be one

It's when watching TV channels that the picture drops. It doesn't drop in Youtube.

@Transistorhero

EETV live channels won’t always run over a third party WiFi booster. But this won’t affect apps, like YouTube, which is why they are fine.

How far is your Box Pro from the EE router? EETV advise this should not be more than 5 metres.

What is the make and model of your WiFi booster?

Have you talked to EE about them supplying you with one of their boosters, guaranteed to work with EETV live channels?
