TNT Sports Ultimate on D+ and EE TV

I’ve got an EE Apple TV 4K.  I notice the Ultimate TNT sports channel on D+ is available in HDR and 5.1 surround whereas the EE TV app version is 2.0 sound and in SDR.  Am I missing some setting somewhere on the EE TV app?

There doesn't appear to be the HDR version of TNT Sport Ultimate via the EE TV app on an Apple TV 4K, so if you want HDR, you do need to use discovery+.

Personally I just use discovery+ for live sport on TNT anyway, almost identical broadcast delay, fuller features in the app and zero annoying extra security circles or viewer codes overlayed.

But, the EE TV app does support 5.1 and Atmos when available, you just need to click up on the remote and over to the right to change the audio to "surround".

Here is the EE TV app sound for TNT Sport Ultimate this morning:

Change to surroundChange to surround

Note: Sound will change during adverts as the surround drops.

LG B6 OLED 55” | LG UP75 LCD 43” | Sky Q | Sky Q Mini | SONOS Beam 2 | EE Apple TV 4K | EE Full Works FTTC
