TNT Sports Bundle

I recently bought a Samsung TV through EE and it says it came with 24 months of TNT Sports.
Got the TV but absolutely no information about the sports thing and I have no idea how to activate it.
There’s absolutely no info with the TV or in any email.

When I checked TNT Sports and entered my phone number, I it said there were no subscriptions to be activated.

I read another post here about the same issue years ago and that person said the problem was solved when EE sent them a text to confirm that the package had been activated seven days after their TV arrived.

It’s now been 10 days since my TV was delivered and I’ve received no information.

Hi @CodeBlue

Welcome to the community.

You've followed the right steps to activate the discovery+ subscription, but if it is saying there is nothing to activate, it will need to be checked by our customer service guides.

If you give the team a call, they'll bring up your account and check that it is set up and help to get it resolved for you.

I've read elsewhere that the code for the discovery+ subscription (which includes TNT Sports) is sent 14 days after receipt of the new television set - the logic being to stop people redeeming the free/inclusive subscription and then sending back the TV under the 14 day cooling off period.

I've also read comments that this alas isn't made at all clear in any information provided by EE - if that is the case, then it's too bad as it will waste the time and effort of both EE customers and EE staff trying to help them!
