Sudden issues with NowTv started 14 April

Last night we started having problems with NowTv and content from NowTV, restarting Apple TV hadn't resolved it, and left it overnight thinking it might be temporary. Today I'm still getting 'Something went wrong. NowTv is currently unavailable. Please try again later.'

Anyone else, or any known issues please @ee?

Fyi all this was resolved by force quitting the NowTv app. Oddly restarting Apple TV failed to achieve the same outcome.

I had an issue earlier where the app on the apple TV was telling me "my account wasn't available in this region". A reboot from the menu resolved for me.

Is it working on the website version?

Hiya

That's actually how it started for me, then after restart of the Apple TV it went to the message I shared above.

NowTv was working on other devices (iPhone and direct via Samsung TV).

Coincidentally we noticed there was an update of the NowTv app yesterday and since then it seems to be working (though we had to hassle with login again).

This returned again last night. Anyone else seeing this?

Fwiw we've changed absolutely nothing on our network or Apple TV. EE is our broadband provider. We're of course living in the same house. 😂

Have you tried restarting the router and Apple TV again to see if this resolves this for you?

Yes, each the network/router and Apple TV have been restarted multiple times now with no effect.

NowTv works fine via our Samsung TV, no such issues.

Ensure your Apple TV's Date & Time settings are set to "Automatic" in Settings > General > Date & Time. The clocks changed a couple of weeks ago. If AppleTV hasn’t updated, NowTv may be checking and thinking your’e in a different time zone.
