Plusnet transfer: Wifi Smart Hub Plus 6 certificate error (Samsung TV)

I have just been transferred from Plusnet to EE, and received an e-mail from EE to say that the broadband switchover would occur today.

The EE Smart Hub Plus 6 seems to work fine with a desktop PC and laptop (both Win 11), but I cannot connect my Samsung Smart TV to the EE Wifi network (see TV screen & Error Code -202). Several attempts using the Wifi password also failed.

NB A MANHATTAN_T3-R recorder is successfully connected (2.4 GHz) to the EE Wifi, via Wifi password submission.

If anyone has resolved this error then I would welcome for further details. TIA

Don't use the "EE WiFi" network - it's no use for TVs. You need to use the private WiFi network - the one written on the router label.

If that doesn't allow you to connect either then use another device to log into the router admin page (details also on the label) and enable the WiFi compatibility option. This will cause a new WiFi network to appear (ending -comp) which should work for you TV.

Many thanks - the 'comp' option worked fine.
