Apps work fine but live TV breaks up and is unwatchable at least once a day. Very frustrating.

I have restarted my router and TV box. Nothing helps. On a more worrying note I had a call saying they were from EE and asked about the problem and then wanted to change to password to my Gmail account. I hung up at this point. The number was 07340 187429. Had an email from "community support" asking for best contact number - I feel foolish that I gave it and this is probably where the problem started.
