I understand the new EE TV Service has just been launched, including via a customised EE Apple TV 4K box. I currently have Sky Stream so EE TV via an Apple TV box is a. good proposition. It would be great to hear reviews of the service via Apple TV from those who are early adopters of the service (I assume some trials must have taken place too)

I forgot to mention: this is a stock Apple 4K box, not an EE-branded box. I am an EE TV customer and I just installed the EE TV app on my box. At first, only TNT Sport channels showed-up in the guide. After 24/48 hours all the terrestrial and premium channels also appeared. I also installed the EE TV app on a second stock Apple 4K box in another room and the same thing: only TNT Sport at first, then after a couple of days all the other channels.
I'm pretty impressed to be honest. I'm just missing live-pause (my instinct to press pause is always met with disappointment when nothing happens!)

Thanks that’s really interesting I did see the app on the pro box. I think it’s still a youview box.
I read that not all functions were available if not using the EE branded Apple TV. But guess it’s just an app with live content and on demand content available, like Sky Go.
I would think that live pause they will add like Sky stream.
in some other countries Apple TV is offered by service providers as an alternative to android box, so In the U.K. EE is the first to offer one with comprehensive live TV offering. The Sky Go app on Apple TV is quite limited

Hi, I'm finding it very frustrating trying to get the Apple TV box from EE, no one i speak to seems to know anything about it. I am blind and with the EE Pro Box & mini boxes not accessible I really want to try the Apple TV box alternative as I know this will be accessible for me using voiceover.

Sorry to hear that @Elliot1983 - have you called today? All our agents on the phone and in EE stores should be trained and ready to sell the Apple TV box on EE TV as of this morning.

Hi Darren, thanks so much for reply, I've spoken to about 6 people today on the phone who had no idea, just kept talking about Apple TV Plus subscription. I switched to EE this week and was told that I had ordered the Apple TV 4k as part of my package but all that i've been sent is the EE TV box mini's which are not accessible. Currently feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall...As mentioned I am blind and i Know the Apple TV will be accessible, this was my main reason for switching to EE but am already considering cancelling as it doesn't look like I am going to get the Apple TV i ordered.

Sorry for the hassle you've had. I've just checked your account notes, and it does show you've spoken to quite a few people today. Fortunately the last person you spoke to has fully understood the situation, but today is your activation date - we need to wait for that to complete before your box swap can be ordered. The agent will call you at 10am tomorrow as agreed, and hopefully get the order placed.

Thank you, you are correct the last person I spoke to was the most helpful and I think she did understand the issue. I'm really hoping we can get the box ordered tomorrow but if not, not sure where I go from there. Hopefully the same agent will call me back as I don't really want to go through everything again with someone who doesn't know what I am talking about. I really appreciate you getting back to me though, hopefully I won't have to but if have no success tomorrow am I able to come back to you as you have been super helpful and you know your stuff!
