Hello,

I have a EE tv pro box and need to summit feedback to youview about the software on the box, when you reset the TV box on setup it tells you there is an update available so the box installs the update and setup carry’s on. Also there are freeview channels that are no longer available on freeview but are still listed.

Any help would be greatly appreciate

Thanks

When you reset the TV Box, it reverts back to default YouView branding.  When it then starts up for the first time, it picks up the config for EE from your broadband - which is the software update it has found.  It then restarts into the EE branding.  So that's as expected.

If you have an aerial connected then the channels it lists are the channels that your aerial has found. Some channels remain in the TV Guide for a while after they've closed down or moved, just to show a message informing the user.

So no faults here - it's behaving as expected.

You need to contact your box provider/manufacturer as YouView ceased direct customer support in 2023. So for you it would be EE.
