NOW TV & Discovery +

Hopefully I can get some straightforward advice on here as have been going round in circles so far....

Have recently moved over to EE Broadband from BT.

I have a TV & Entertainment package with EE which according to my EE contract includes NOW Entertainment (Bundled - whatever that means), Discovery basic, TNT Sports & NOW Hayu.

I have an existing NOW Hayu account that I currently pay for.

I have a Discovery+ Premium account which includes TNT Sports that I currently pay for.

My question is do I cancel my existing Discovery+ Premium account? It looks as if I will only get Discovery basic with EE so will I then have to upgrade with EE to get Discovery+ Premium?

I assume I can cancel my NOW Hayu account as EE will bill me from now on? I appear to have all the viewing options I am used to so am not sure whether my existing NOW account has been linked somehow with BT.

I've not activated Discovery through EE as I'm petrified of ending up with 2 accounts and end up being billed for each.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

As an existing Now TV subscriber, you should have been asked for your email address. This would have triggered a PIN to be sent to you, to allow EE to take over your account. The fact that you'd didn't happen suggests that your subscription is now on a different email address. Please email me at tv.apps@ee.co.uk with your Now TV account email address and your EE account number, and I can correct that.

Your discovery+ is much easier - simply follow the activation process in the email and your subscription will switch to EE. Your existing payment arrangements will cease.

Once accounts are paired with your EE subscription, you can then upgrade as needed.

Thanks Darren Dev.
I do have a recollection of being asked for my email address and receiving a PIN when my NOW account was being discussed. In my defence the whole switching process took a while and I was rather confused at the end of it.

I'll proceed as per your advice above regarding Discovery+

Hopefully things will go smoothly from now on.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to me.

Kind regards.
