Just been sent a mini box as have changed over to EE from BT. They advised it would work with desktop pc when I asked. But have set it all up and nothing happened.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

What do you mean when you say about it working with a desktop PC?

You can't connect the TV Box Mini to the PC, but you can use https://player.ee.co.uk/ https://nowtv.com/ https://discoveryplus.com/ to watch your subscription content.

OK thanks, when I spoke to the advisor on the phone who offered the box they advised that it would work with a desktop computer, as I explained we o not have a second TV but do have a computer.

WE had BT box which we still have as main TV, when contract was up for renewal it has all switched to EE. When I was speaking to someone at their call centre  to renew they offered this mini box. I explained no second TV but do have a computer. They spoke to a manager and came back and said it would work with TV so said yes to having it. Plugged it all in and appears it does not work with PC

If the monitor for your desktop PC has an HDMI input then it could potentially work with that - it depends whether it has speakers.  There wouldn't really be much benefit over just using the web sites on your PC instead though.
