Hi all,
I've been a Sky customer for 18 years but have cancelled it recently due to the monthly costs getting insane. We have all the channel packages, but mainly use sport / Freeview HD channels to be fair.
An EE TV "full works" package is currently coming up at half the price of the new promotion Sky can do for me, so I was wondering how people are getting on with it.
I'm fully aware of it requiring subscriptions behind the scenes and it won't be as slick as Sky.
Other streaming services I'm not fussed about as we already have excellent native YouTube, Amazon, Disney apps on the TVs.
What are people's experiences? Is it fairly easy to navigate, or do you have to keep swapping between apps to watch programmes?
What's the picture quality like?
Are all the channels HD?

Good morning @Julieholtom24, thanks for explaining that to us.
When you're turning this on and off, is this at the remote, or fully via the socket?
You absolutely shouldn't need to reinsert the Ethernet every time you use the box, but once you do this can you view non-subscription channels without any issues?

@Julieholtom24 there are 2 separate issues here to check:
1. It telling you that you need to subscribe
You have the Entertainment package, so this doesn't include access to Cinema. You don't have access to the HD channels either, so your subscription channels are in the ranges 340-351, 408-413, 450-455. Do these channels work for you after you've reconnected the yellow internet cable?
2. Needing to reconnect the yellow cable
Is that yellow cable connected directly between the TV Box and the EE Hub? Or is there any other device connected in between?

Hi peter. I have just spent an hour on the phoneto EE for them to decide it's a faulty box

Thanks for popping back with an update @Julieholtom24
I'm pleased you managed to get to the bottom of this, has the team covered the next steps to get this resolved?
