Just ordered an upgrade to full fibre and added the TV package in error.

Hi,

I upgraded on Monday to Full fibre and added a TV package in error. We don’t want it but I can’t seem to cancel it until they come and do the installation next week. It seems silly as we will not unpack the box or use it and will just cancel it straight away.

any advice on how to stop it before it arrives.

thanks

John

It is possible to book an engineer for TV install as well - it's a Qube engineer rather than Openreach.

Unfortunately it's not possible to cancel the TV portion of your order - the system has no way to allow it, other than to cancel the entire order and then start again (which would also mean joining the back of the queue for the broadband install as well, if needed).

The eng. coming to install your BB will have nowt to do with TV.

but they told me when I phoned he’d be installing it and making sure it all worked.

when I said I don’t want it they said I can’t cancel it until after the installation

An OR eng. is needed to change your BB to Full Fibre & OR don't touch TV.
