Ive moved from BT TV to EE TV and want to watch NOW TV on my laptop

With BT I was able to simply log into Now TV on my laptop and watch it.  With EE TV if I try to do this, Now TV thinks I am trying to buy a subscription.  How do I access Now TV on my laptop now that Im with EE?

@NazzaLac

I suspect you are doing nothing wrong, but something has gone awry with linkage behind the scenes during the move.

Sadly, backend issues like this are common currently because, well, it’s BT at the end of the day, it has always been thus.

You will need to reach out to EE to get this resolved or, if you are lucky, @DarrenDev might be able to sort it.

@NazzaLac

Go into Now on an EETV device, navigate to Account (top right) and find out what email address you are set up with there.

If it is one you recognise and own, log into Now on the laptop with it. It may ask you to set a password, but you should be able to continue.

If you don’t recognise it, or it is some minor but fatal alteration to an email address you do recognise, then somebody in the Fatfingering department at EETV has set you up wrongly, and you will have to ask that nice @DarrenDev  to straighten it out for you.

@NazzaLac   Login to your now to account and you should see.   ( see image ) If it doesn’t show this somewhere within your now account you can select subscription via or through EE.   I had to do this to watch on my tablet.

Many thanks for the suggestions.  I will give them a go.

To be honest, I'm fed up with EE. Had problems with the broadband. Problems with the tv setup. Even paid to have it all configured and all the guy did was plug in the box. Customer service is unhelpful and I'm usually hanging on the phone for 30 to 60 mi uses just waiting to get through. Submitted a complaint a week ago via online contact and got a response today which simply said they couldn't help and I would need to phone. I'm pulling my hair out.

I was with BT for 3 or 4 years. Never had any problems. Should never have switched.

@NazzaLac

I just onboarded to EETV very smoothly, but that was with BT.

I suspicion it might not have been so straightforward with EE.

Your Now TV account has been registered to you @hotmail.com instead of @Gmail.com - is that email address also yours?  If not, send me an email at tv.apps@ee.co.uk and I can correct that for you.

An email will be with you shortly. Thank you.
