Issues with U tv

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to watch a program on U, every time it reaches an advert (so many) it requests a refresh then you have to endure more adverts just to have another request to refresh. I get a error code but EE does not recognise it - UKTV-03-V003.  Even if I start to watch the program soon as there is an advert it starts the same process (refresh-adverts-refresh-adverts then back to beginning). Very annoying. Can anyone help, other wise why am I paying for a TV service that doesn't work.

I believe the U app on demand content is also available on 4 player so there is an alternative source of the programming

One observation I don't believe the (Youview) Universal search on the Box Pro devices returns search results for the U content  on the 4 app  but only for ther u app.

So if there are  issues with u player which of course should be investigated there is probably an alternative source.
